Delivery Information

Beautiful jewellery delivered securely to your door.

We believe that shopping online should be even more convenient than shopping on the high street; free from the hassle of parking, crowds and high prices. That's why we offer free delivery on all orders to GB and Northern Ireland addresses, with no minimum spend.

Nightingale offers a selection of ‘ready for you’ and ‘made to order’ items. These products have differing dispatch times which are dependant on the work involved in each order.

Ready for you

We aim to dispatch your order within 3-5 working days (i.e. not including Saturday or Sunday). Your package should arrive by 1pm the day following dispatch, and will need to be signed for. Deliveries may take longer around Christmas, during postal strikes, at times of snow and bad weather, and at other busy times.

Made to order

Items that are made to order for you by our craftsmen will be clearly marked on the product page to indicate longer order times where appropriate. If in doubt, please call us to confirm. We aim to dispatch made to order items within 10 – 14 working days. We will let you know the expected delivery date, and will notify you when the item is dispatched. Once dispatched your package will arrive before 1pm the following day.

How will your order be delivered?

Our free UK delivery is dispatched via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery, which guarantees delivery on the next day, before 1:00pm. Items dispatched on a Friday are guaranteed for delivery by 1pm on the following Monday - in some areas Royal Mail may deliver on a Saturday, but this is not guaranteed. Royal Mail require a signature on delivery. If you miss the delivery, a card will be left to let you know a delivery has been attempted. You will then be able to collect the parcel from your local sorting office, or follow the instructions on the card to arrange redelivery.

What happens if I don't receive my order?

In the unlikely event of your parcel not being delivered by the guaranteed time, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate this for you by tracking your parcel. Once we have found out the reason behind the problem with your delivery we will advise accordingly.

Keeping safe

At Nightingale we take fraud seriously and do all we can to prevent fraudulent transactions. Our checks are rigorous, essential and are completed as standard for every transaction in order to protect both your security and that of our business. If an order does not pass our security checks, we will contact the cardholder to confirm that the order is valid. We may occasionally be instructed by the card issuing bank to deliver to the card holder’s address only. In this eventuality we will contact you to discuss this matter and to ensure you can be in place to provide your signature upon delivery.

Returns

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase, but sometimes we understand that you may change your mind about an item. For instance, you may need a different finger size, in which case you can return the ring to us to be exchanged for an item of the correct size. You may simply feel a different item could have been more suitable for you; we’re happy to offer an exchange in this eventuality too.

Under the distance selling regulations you can cancel an order within 7 days of receipt. This applies to standard goods only; that is goods that are in stock and ready for you. *Bespoke, hand made or personalised items are excluded from the distance selling regulations.

As a service to you we will extend this period to 14 days to give you a little longer to make sure the item is suitable. If you wish to return an item, please contact us within 14 days from the day of receipt and we will advise on the returns process. If a refund is agreed, the refund can only be made back onto the card that was used to make the purchase.

*Please note that we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on bespoke items or special orders. This means that we cannot provide refunds or exchanges on items that have been specially made to order for you, or items that have been altered or personalised in any way. Bespoke or specially ordered products may only be returned if the goods are faulty or were supplied incorrectly.

None of the above affects your statutory rights.
